Was so interesting to see how we all interpret other’s behaviours differently, and I attended thinking I didn’t have many boundaries but realised after that actually I do! This was my second session with Andy and 6 hours later I’m still thinking about it!

The presentation style was calm throughout, and this gave the impression that Andy not only knew what he was talking about, but that he really believed that what he was putting across was important. As a consequence, I felt able to concentrate fully on what was being delivered, and that the subject content was important. Practical tips which were underpinned and explained by reference to theoretical models, which combined to make the points covered have real meaning.

An excellent way to understand professional boundaries training, more so for people who have not been clinically trained. I feel it incorporated a lot of therapeutic techniques such as mirroring and clean language that would be extremely useful for workers to use with clients and staff. I actually think this should be repeated training regularly, with more examples and even role play.
